Real Madrid rounded off a successful week with three wins in five days thanks to the win on the Hereda San Pablo Burgos court. The team recorded its 13th consecutive league victory to remain top of the table and undefeated. A great defense, which brought down the opponent's average by 26 points, dominating from start to finish in a game in which the Whites managed to win by 16 points. Laso's side shared the points around, with Laprovittola (13 points) and Rudy (10) in double digits. The Balearic forward played his 550th game in the Real Madrid jersey.
The two best attacking teams in the competition came up against each other and it was the defense that came out on top. Real Madrid started well, focused at the back and looking to do damage in attack, where they punished their opponents on the offensive rebound. Causeur (5 points) and Abalde (4+4 rebounds) handed the initiative to Laso's side with a 6-17 on 7 minutes. But just as they built up the advantage, it slipped away in the next 3 minutes. McFadden's introduction improved San Pablo Burgos, who put together a 13-0 run that turned the scoreboard around in the 11th minute (19-17).
Madrid took back control
The leaders managed to slow down the home side's progress with another good defensive show, keeping their opponents at bay and being patient in attack. The control of the rebound allowed them to string together a run. Llull and Tavares linked up to keep on racking up the score and the team opened a small lead that reached 7 points in the 17th minute. Rudy's introduction also played a part in this. San Pablo Burgos was only able to score from the three pointers or the free throw in a second quarter in which the Whites gave up 13 points (29-34, min. 30).

Rudy played his 550th game for Real Madrid.

Laso's side held firm in defense, with Deck standing out at the back, continuing to make a dent on the second-best attack in the competition after the break. Little by little, Madrid increased the gap thanks to Laprovittola and Thompkins' success. It was more sustained throughout the game this time with total control of the game. A three-pointer from the Argentine point guard made it 41-58, capping off a great third quarter for Madrid with a 12-22 run.
Defensive effort
San Pablo Burgos were running out of ways in to the game as Kravic tried to find a way in, but he came up against a firm and unwavering Real Madrid. The Whites handled their lack of options perfectly as everyone chipped in and although they didn't have the offensive edge of other games, they were consistent. Llull and Rudy stepped up at the right time to kill off the match in its final stretch, reaching +16 in 37' and leaving the opponents at just 60 points. A great game by the leaders in defense, demonstrating their capacity to adapt (60-74, min. 40). Laso's team finish the week with a clean sweet of wins after beating Baskonia and Asvel.
