"It's a team that plays some very good basketball, but we hope to keep our unbeaten start going", declared the coach.
Pablo Laso addressed the media in the build-up to the league Matchweek 12 meeting between Real Madrid and Baxi Manresa (Sunday, 8pm CET) and previewed the contest in the following terms: “It's a tough game against difficult opponents. They do have some absences but we know that we're going to have to be really focused from the outset against a team that plays some very good basketball”.

“It's a week of real effort in physical and mental terms, with three games in the space of five days. We've got some players carrying the knocks and others who have recovered from an injury and even illness in Causeur’s case and we'll likely change the team list tomorrow”.

This run of 10 straight league wins reflects well on the team.

“Manresa has a player who dominates heavily in their play and that's Dani Pérez, who creates a lot of play for the rest of the team. They pass the ball very well and are very well-organised. It's a well assembled, strong all-round team, with good fitness and they're currently in the play-off spots”.

Fine start to season
“The fact that we’ve started the season with this run of 10 league wins reflects very well on the team. We aim to keep improving as a team, to play better and there's no doubt that this is reflected in our results. We hope to keep our unbeaten run going, but we know that every game in the league is tough”.
