Laso's charges lie top of the standings after winning the opening 10 match-ups.
Real Madrid is enjoying a perfect start to the league season. After downing
Urbas Fuenlabrada at the WiZink Center (79-68), Pablo Laso's men made it 10 wins on the spin, a record which represents the team's best start to a season in the last seven campaigns.

We have to go back to the 2013/14 season, when the team strung together a record-breaking 27-game winning streak, for the last time the madridistas won all of their opening 10 match-ups. In the past seven league seasons, the next best starts came in 2014/15 (nine wins) and 2019/20 (eight wins).
This fine start has propelled Madrid to the top of the league, with an average of 87.6 points scored and 73 against. Laso's charges also lead the way in the rebound (38.4), blocks (4.1) and three-point percentage (40.13%) charts, whilst the madridistas are the only team to have surpassed the 100-point mark in the PIR stakes (105.5). To date, Tavares (10,4 points, 7.2 rebounds, 2.6 blocks and a PIR of 16.8) has been the standout performer in a roster in which everyone's making a contribution.
