"The small details made the difference", said the coach, who now has 20 titles at the helm of Real Madrid.
Pablo Laso spoke to the media after leading Real Madrid to their third consecutive Spanish Super Cup and their 20th title with the Whites. The coach described his feelings: " We're very happy with the team and the club. We knew that it was going to be difficult, as always in the Super Cup, but I was very proud of the boys and very happy with the performance.

Those of you who have seen less have helped us to be competitive this weekend. They have helped us a lot to get the best out of ourselves.
"We knew that Alberto (Abalde) and Carlos (Alocén), the last to arrive, had to give us something new. That just means that we need to reinforce ourselves and that the youngsters fit in with the group and the group with them. I'm very happy for their first title with Real Madrid".

"Neither team has had a chance to run. Defensively it was a good match for both teams and the small details made the difference. When we did well we were ahead and so were they, which is very much a final. I want to congratulate Barcelona, who had a great weekend, and especially my boys, who did a great job.

"The situation is simple: Campazzo is a Real Madrid player. He has played in a big Super Cup and was named MVP. I'm delighted with him, everyone loves him".

20 titles
Pablo Laso continues to make history at Real Madrid. In his tenth season in charge of the Whites, the coach has won 20 titles: 2 Euroleagues, 5 Leagues, 6 Cups, 6 Supercups and 1 Intercontinental.
