Real Madrid are riding a seven-game winning streak on the road at this stage of the competition.
Having captured the club's 34th league crown, the Real Madrid squad is now focused on the next target: Friday's Champions League round-of-16 second-leg clash against Manchester City (9pm CET). In their bid to successfully negotiate the tie, the team can take encouragement from its most recent away trips at this stage of the European competition.

The madridistas have won each of their last seven away outings in the Champions League round of 16. Madrid have overcome Manchester United (2-1), Schalke 04 (2-0 and 6-1), Roma (2-0), Napoli (3-1), PSG (2-1) and Ajax (2-1) between 2013 and 2019, with a record of 19 goals for and five against.

If we cast our eyes back even further, the 2009/10 campaign was the last time Real Madrid tasted defeat on the road in the Champions League, after the team remained undefeated in the visits to Olympique Lyon and CSKA in 2011 and 2012.
