More than 40 boys and girls will be able to enjoy their favourite sport in Alcorcón.
This Sunday the students arrived at the VI Adapted Basketball Campus that the Foundation organizes this year at the Amanecer Sports Complex and Residence in Alcorcón. Once again this summer, more than 40 boys and girls with cognitive disabilities will be able to enjoy their favourite sport all week long.
The days consist of multisport coexistence, which includes training in fundamental values for their social integration such as independence, self-esteem or tailored vocational education, thanks to the collaboration of Gonvarri. In addition, there will also be swimming, craft workshops and leisure and educational activities.

Educational sports
This campus is directed at people with cognitive dysfunctions and helps them overcome the limitations of their full social inclusion. With this initiative, just like what happens during the school year in adapted and inclusive social and sports schools, educational sport directed by specialist professionals is made available to everyone, whatever their situation.

Improving their independence, learning to work as a team, the value of friendship, respect and equality are some of the concepts common to all summer campuses and more so in the adapted one.
