The Real Madrid academy graduate has been chosen as part of the historic team.
Luka Doncic has been selected as part of the best team of the decade in the Euroleague, 2010-2020 following a joint vote by fans, the media, coaches and captains of the 18 teams in this year's campaign. The Real Madrid youth-teamer is part of the team, made up of 10 players, so far including Kyle Hines, Juan Carlos Navarro Diamantidis, Teodosic, De Colo and Printezis..
The Slovenian point guard, who joined Real Madrid at 13 years of age, played three seasons in the Euroleague, becoming one of the best players on the continent in recent times. Doncic's first two campaigns saw him crowned the Euroleague's best young player (Rising Star Award), before becoming European champion in his third term, lifting the title after beating Fenerbahçe in the final in Belgrade. His last year saw him win the lot: Regular Season MVP, Final Four MVP, and a place in the tournament's best five. In barely three years, Doncic made his mark on European basketball before making the jump to the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks.
