"Our goal is to secure home court advantage for the playoffs as soon as possible", said Deck.
Pablo Laso and Gabriel Deck spoke about the Real Madrid-Red Star game, in round 29 of the Euroleague, which will be played at the WiZink Center behind closed doors (Thursday, 9pm). The Whites coach said about the match: "The team is quite solid, rebounding well and dominating the rhythm of the game. In attack we have enough patience to get good shots off. Little by little, the team's style is gaining ground. We're putting in serious performances and the feeling is that the team is solid despite a high number of casualties".
"Red Star is a pretty complete team, still with a chance of making the playoffs. They have two very decisive players and scorers in Baron and Punter. They open the field a lot with good range. Then, they have a solid base like Lorenzo Brown and a mobile inside game with Gist, Davidovac and the physical presence of Lazic. Overall, it's a very competitive team. They've just beaten Maccabi and for us it's a tough test to keep on aiming for our goals".

Laso: "It's a tough test to keep on aspiring to our goals".

"The Euroleague is very evenly matched. They are two wins away from the playoffs despite being in 14th place. It's an important game for them and also for us in terms of continuing to look for home-court advantage. With three matches we would be mathematically among the first four, knowing that in the playoffs we will come up against a big team because there is a lot of equality. We must focus on maintaining our high level and continue to be Real Madrid".
Deck: "We are in a good run of form and we hope to continue this way"
"We have to approach the game as we have been doing so far. We are in a good run of form and let's hope it continues like this tomorrow. We have to focus on our own business, on doing our own job well, because they're going to come at us very strongly. The team is going into the games with good intensity and moving the ball around well. We are looking to get home-court advantage for the playoffs but we know that in the Euroleague, every game is hard, although we hope to achieve it quickly".
