NEWS | 30/01/2020There will be four exclusive week-long programs for business leaders in Los Angeles and Madrid.
Participants can learn and share experiences with top professionals within sports management, including members of faculty and employees of The Real Madrid Graduate School-Universidad Europea, as well as employees of Real Madrid. This alliance expands the global reach and prestige of the two institutions.
“We are committed to using enriching experiences and skills in management to benefit industries such as the press, sports and entertainment”, stated Jay Tucker, executive director of the Center for Management of Enterprise in Media, Entertainment & Sports (MEMES) at UCLA Anderson. Professor Sanjay Sood, academic vice dean at UCLA Anderson, added: “We are excited to start this long-term alliance between UCLA Anderson and Real Madrid Graduate School-Universidad Europea”.

Jesús García Velasco, director of International Expansion of the Real Madrid Graduate School-Universidad Europea, said: "This collaboration shows the leadership of the two institutions within higher education both in sporting and entertainment sectors"
The programs hope to help upcoming leaders in sports and entertainment companies. They feature varied experiences, presentations by professors who specialize in management as well as business leaders, visits to key companies and other activities.
Madrid and Los Angeles
The week-long program in Madrid led by UCLA Anderson students will run from June 1st to 5th, 2020 and provides the chance to learn from business executives and Real Madrid executives, as well as participating in tailor-made experiences at the club itself. The three programs that are set to take place in Los Angeles will happen in April, July and November 2020 and will be attended by professionals with a MBA qualifications in Sports Management. This group of attendees features top-level collaborators from the Real Madrid Graduate School-Universidad Europea, as well as executives and leaders from Real Madrid.
