News | 29/01/2020 | Javier VázquezZidane's team hope to qualify in a knockout game at La Romareda (9:00pm CET).
With the Madrid derby around the corner, Real Madrid need to continue the form they showed in the three consecutive away games over the last week. The team dynamic could not be better for a team that has gone 19 games undefeated and are currently in the title race.
Zidane's aim is clear. The team are in a good moment of form but need to keep working as the road is a long one. That is what he said in his press conference prior to the game: “It's a tough game that we're approaching with focus and intensity”. For the game at La Romareda, he has called on 19 players.
A historic clash
The twenty clashes between the sides include two finals. In the 1993 final, the madridistas won, but in 2004, the side from Aragon came out on top. This season Real Zaragoza are fighting to get back to LaLiga and currently sit fourth in the table, six points adrift of the leaders and six clear of those in seventh place.
