Hazard named best Belgian player based abroad

This is the third consecutive year that the Belgian newspaper HLN has given the madridista forward this award.
The newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws (HLN) has named Real Madrid forward Eden Hazard the best Belgian player based abroad. This is the third consecutive year that the Belgian star has won this award, having won in 2017 and 2018. Hazard (458 points) topped the list voted for by journalists and Belgian footballing personalities, beating De Bruyne (348) and Lukaku (248). The madridista goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois came 13th in the ranking on 26 points.

In 2019, Hazard won the Europa League with Chelsea before signing for Real Madrid. He was named as the best player in the competition and was named the best player in the Belgian national team last year.
