Spanish Super Cup winners begin preparations for Sevilla clash

The Spanish Super Cup champions completed the first session of the week at Real Madrid City as preparations began for Saturday's LaLiga Matchday 20 meeting with Sevilla at the Santiago Bernabéu (4pm CET). Sergio Ramos and Luka Jović worked out indoors, whilst the rest of the starters in the game against  Atlético completed a recovery session. Gareth Bale, who didn't travel to Saudi Arabia on account of an infection in his upper respiratory tract, trained with the group.

The session got under way with fitness work and running drills. Next up, the Whites completed various possession and pressing exercises, contested several  matches on a reduced-sized pitch, before rounding things off with some finishing drills. Marco Asensio, Eden Hazard and Karim Benzema continued with their recovery programmes, with the French forward training alone on the grass, both with and without the ball.

Benzema trained alone on the grass, both with and without the ball.
