Arbeloa presented a run that will have 5 and 10 km routes, as well as children's races between Cibeles and Neptune.
Real Madrid's ambassador Álvaro Arbeloa and the director of Gold Running, Jaime Cue, have presented the Real Madrid Foundation's IV Charity Fun Run at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, which will be held on Sunday 26 January. The event, chaired by Enrique Sánchez, Executive Vice-President of the Real Madrid Foundation, was also attended by Emilio Butragueño, the club's Director of Institutional Relations.
Arbeloa encouraged all the runners to sign up for the race: "This season, among the first 100 runners who sign up today from 2pm onwards, we will hold a draw and I will offer to be one of the participants' pacemakers".
Jaime Cue, director of Gold Running, pointed out that "the race presents fundamental novelties in this edition, starting with the route, which has been modified due to the works at the stadium". The race will start at the Plaza de la Lealtad, next to Cibeles, and will continue along the Paseo de la Castellana to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Avenida de Concha Espina, Príncipe de Vergara, Doctor Arce y Serrano, to finish again at Cibeles. The 5 km route starts from the same starting point, but ends at the Plaza Gregorio Marañón.

Arbeloa: "We want it to be an inclusive run for everyone, like the Foundation's projects".

"Every year we have more collaborating entities that join Banco Santander as the main sponsor of the race, which makes for a more attractive runner's pack and better prizes", added Cue.
The Real Madrid Foundation hopes to exceed 7,000 participants in this year's edition in the different 5 and 10 km options, as well as in the children's races between Cibeles and Neptuno. It is an event that is accessible to all who wish to participate, regardless of their abilities, as Arbeloa explained: "We want it to be an inclusive race and for everyone, like the Foundation's projects, to which the benefits of the race are distributed".
