The Whites, who have lifted the trophy twice in this period, also dominate in free-throw percentages and per-game averages on assists and rebounds.
Real Madrid is the standout team in the statistics published by EuroLeague in relation to the past decade, with the team leading the way in seven of the fourteen criteria reported on by the continent's elite competition. Between 1 January 2020 and 31 December 2019, the Whites have played more games than any other team (291). This is a reflection of Real Madrid's fine campaigns in the EuroLeague, a competition the Whites have won twice over the past decade (in 2015 and 2018) and reached the Final Four on seven occasions.
The madridistas also dominate in the rebound stakes, having grabbed the most rebounds (10,464) and recorded the highest per-game average (35.9). The same applies to assists, with Madrid having dished the highest total (5,334) and posting the best per-game average (18.3). Finally, Real Madrid has posted the highest tally of blocks (941) and the percentage of free-throws (77.9%).
On an individual level, Tavares is top of the pile over the past 10 years on two-pointers with a success rate of 73.8% (220/298). Meanwhile, Carroll, Llull, Reyes, Rudy, Randolph and Doncic feature in the 50-man shortlist for the EuroLeague Team of the Decade.
