Real Madrid have got involved with the 25th UN Convention on Climate Change, running in Madrid until the 13th of December. The club have installed a huge banner on the main facade of the Santiago Bernabéu (on the Paseo de la Castellana), measuring 35.77x19.60 metres, which will remain there until the 13th of December.

It is a perforated, fireproof canvas banner treated in an environmentally friendly manner, which, using daylight, converts pollution and dirt into water vapour and salt, and eliminates bacteria. Every three metres squared of the banner absorb a level of nitrogen dioxide equivalent to the amount produced by a car in an entire year.
