Laso: "The fact that we're at home should give us that boost to remain unbeaten"

"We have to keep working and growing as a team", commented the madridista coach.
Pablo Laso has spoken in the build-up to Sunday's league Matchweek 8 match-up between Real Madrid and Unicaja Málaga at the WiZink Center (6:30pm CET). The coach previewed the contest in the following terms: "The team's in good shape. We're in a period where we have to understand that we've got to keep working and growing as a team, regardless of the results. We're unbeaten in the league and we'd like to extend that run".

"It's not that I give it much importnce, but there's no doubt that everyone likes to keep on winning. We've made a good start in terms of results, with some of our performances better than others. We know just how competitive the league is, it's very evenly matches and all of the games are tough. The fact that we're at home should give us that boost to remain unbeaten".

The opposition
"Unicaja is tough opposition, they've got a good team and they're competing really well in the league and the EuroCup. They're really aggressive, have got good players on the ball who generate a lot of play for their teammates and have a pretty strong inside game. We know that it'll be a tough game here at home but I hope that we put in a good performance and can get the win".
