The Frenchman's double against Éibar took him on to 157 LaLiga goals, one more than Puskas.
It's four goals in four days for Karim Benzema. The forward struck a double against Galatasaray on Wednesday, before repeating the feat this evening against Éibar. With his two goals at Ipurúa, the Frenchman moves on to 157 LaLiga goals to become the club's sixth-highest scorer in the competition. Tonight's double takes him past Puskas, who managed 156, and he now sits behind only Cristiano Ronaldo (312), Raúl (228), Di Stéfano (216), Santillana (186) and Hugo Sánchez (164).

Since making his debut on the 29th of August 2009 against Deportivo, Benzema has played 323 LaLiga games. His best tally in the competition came in the 2015/16 campaign, when he notched 24 goals; he also managed 21 in both 2018/19 and 2011/12. This season, Benzema has already hit nine goals in the championship, as well as two in the Champions League.
