Rueda de prensa de Pablo Laso

Laso: "We'll have to perform well on our court as we look to rediscover those positive vibes"

"Manresa has a pretty strong all-round game, with some very well-known players", explained the coach.
Pablo Laso spoke to the media in the build-up to the league Matchweek 6 match-up between Real Madrid and BAXI Manresa (Sunday, 12:30): "It's a tough game against a team that has had injury issues and players coming in and out, but we have to respect them right from the get-go. We have to put in a good performance on our court to remain unbeaten in the Endesa League and rediscover the positive vibes in our play ahead of the really demanding week that lies ahead with a EuroLeague double-match week and Baskonia on Sunday".

"Manresa has a pretty strong all-round game, with some very well-known players and good point scorers, like Toolson and Báez and then some solid centers in the number 5 position. They started with a win at home to Unicaja then there was the injury to Ferrari... It's a team that needs some time and they're playing in two competitions. We'll have to put in a good performance right from the first minute".

Roster list
"The team has trained well following the game in Istanbul. I've got some of the players carrying knocks, but that's to be expected given the schedule. Reyes has a shoulder problem that I hope isn't a big deal, but he's been feeling it all week and hasn't trained. He won't feature tomorrow. The rest of the team looked fine in training"

Areas for improvement
"It's a long season but we always have to improve as we go along and be competitive for longer spells in games. We're lacking that consistency, determination and keeping the intensity up for the whole 40 minutes. That's to be expected. The team's working well. The league is so competitive, there's not much difference in standard between the teams and some very good teams. All of the games are tough".
