Marcelo: "We got the win at what's a difficult place to come to"

Real Madrid took all three points at Ali Sami Yen against Galatasaray. This is how Marcelo reflected on the win: "In every match we have to give our best to win. Today we had to get the three points. It was a very difficult match, at a very difficult ground, but we got the win, which was very important. We've had a lot of chances to score goals, we've created a lot, but we've only scored one, although it helped us to get all three points".
 
"We're a team and when we lose, we all lose, and when we win, we win together. We have to improve on a lot of things, but little by little we're picking up pace. We have to carry on like this. The team has always been together. We always give our all, the Real Madrid badge is always above everything. Tonight we gave everything because it was a very difficult match and we had to double our intensity levels".

Courtois: "That's the sort of intensity you always have to put in"
"Tonight's was an important match, we had to win to get some breathing space in order to stay alive in the Champions League. It's a stadium with a big atmosphere and they really get behind their team. We were in the match from the start, although they had two big chances at the beginning that I saved well. In the second half we controlled the match more, but we failed to kill the game off".
