"Our concentration and attention to small details can decide the game", Mickey said.
Pablo Laso and Jordan Mickey spoke to the media in the press room of the basketball pavilion of Real Madrid City ahead of the Euroleague match, which Real Madrid play against Maccabi at the WiZink Center (Thursday, 9pm CEST). The coach said: “In theory, I have 14 players ready, except Thompkins who is not registered. Rudy had a small blow yesterday but today he trained well and Reyes has had a sore back and has left training but they are all available”.
“The team looks in good shape to me, regardless of the results. Its normal that winning or losing affects them but they are measurements that I try to avoid. Last week we had two very difficult matches and the team responded well. We must recover from these efforts and we know that tomorrow we face a very athletic and aggressive team”.
Danger of the opponent
“Maccabi right now is one of the fittest teams. We must be prepared to defend well, for lots of shooting situations, low post and one on ones. In defense we must try to impose our match rhythm, which is where we can harm them if we are able to be constant in the game”.

Laso: "Last week we had two very difficult matches and the team responded well".

“It's a demanding fixture list but having both games at home is good because it allows us to waste less time on trips, train and recover well. Every game is different and complicated and playing at home is good for us because of the support of the fans, and we hope to have two good games this week”.
Mickey: "It's a tough team"
“Maccabi is a tough and complicated team, and has a squad with talented players who, although they need some time to reach their best level, are already putting in good performances. We have to be focused and ready to play. We are fine but we still have room for improvement. We are a good team, but Maccabi is too".
"We know what we have to do and our concentration and attention to the small details can decide the outcome of the game. In El Palacio there is a great atmosphere and we have a lot of fans who really get behind us. They complete the team and I’m happy that they will support us tomorrow".
