"I'm sure that there'll be a great atmosphere at the WiZink Center and we'll be able to respond with a win", explained the Whites' coach.

Real Madrid coach, Pablo Laso, addressed the media to preview Sunday's match-up between his team and UCAM Murcia, to be played at the WiZink Center (8pm CET). "On our floor we have the duty to reproduce the same energy levels and try and improve on some elements from the first game. Murcia has a team with players that are good prolific and athletic and we'll have to be ready to put in a good performance if we want to win".

"It's important that we recover physically with this game coming 48 hours after our last one. It'll be a different contest but we came away with good vibes in terms of our defensive and offensive play. We didn't do badly but were punished for a lot mistakes, although after half-time we managed to grow into it and claim a good win"

First home league match
"I'm sure that there'll be a great atmosphere. It's true that we had the Super Cup here, but this is the first league game on our floor and we hope to see a good atmosphere and for us to respond with a win and for our fans to appreciate the work that many of our players put in during the summer".

UCAM Murcia has assembled a good and very competitive team.

"It was important for us to win the Super Cup, particularly to prove that the work that you're putting in can deliver results. If you win games that gives you reassurance, but we know that this is just starting and that there's a lot of work ahead of us".

"I'm expecting a very aggressive team, with the main elements including being good on the pick & roll, they've got good shooters, particularly Booker, who's a player that creates an awful lot. They're a team with good scoring ability. Overall, they've assembled a good, competitive team and they began with a win over Betis. We're going to have to be really ready if we want to win the game".

Four games in nine days
"That's what our schedule is going to be like all season. I'm not thinking about that much, I'm rather focused on managing things between last night's efforts and tomorrow's, trying to recover and am aware that next week we've got games against Fenerbahçe and Tenerife within 48 hours of each other".
