"We're up against a great team in Fenerbahçe; it could very well be a final", added the madridista forward.
Real Madrid faces Fenerbahçe in its EuroLeague opener at the WiZink Center on Thursday (9pm CET) and ahead of the match-up, Causeur sat down with Realmadrid TV: "Our first target is to reach the quarter-finals and be amongst the top eight teams in Europe. Real Madrid always aims to win trophies and lift the EuroLeague. We're always confident because this team has won so much that we're always ready to lift more trophies. We're going to try and make sure the EuroLeague returns to Madrid this year".

"In the key moments of the season, I'm full of desire to win. My energy and ambition is greater than ever. The last two Final Fours went well for me and I performed really well. That's the way of things in basketball. You can have your off days but you've got to play with energy and try and help the team".

EuroLeague curtain-raiser
"We're a little nervous because we face a great team in the shape of
Fenerbahçe. It could very well be a final and that brings with it a special feeling and that's why I can't wait to get going".

Fans' backing
"The supporters are our sixth man and we need them in our home games, particularly in the EuroLeague because it's a really demanding competition and when things get heated, we really need them. That's why it's so special to play at the Palacio."
