Arbeloa opened the Grupo Bafar Torneo de Golf for the Foundation schools in Mexico

The socio sporting schools serve 4237 children throughout Chihuahua, Michoacán and Yucatán.
Real Madrid club ambassador Álvaro Arbeloa was at the Club Campestre in Chihuahua Mexico for the Torneo de Golf y Dominó organised by Grupo Bafar. The proceeds go towards the sustainability of the 34 socio sporting schools that the Real Madrid Foundation runs in México, alongside the Fundación Grupo Bafar.

Arbeloa was met by Eugenio Baeza Fares, president of Grupo Bafar's board of administrators, who thanked all the participants. Bafar is the main supporter of the Foundation in México, and their work helps over 4000 children in socio sporting schools throughout Chihuahua, Michoacán and Yucatán, many of whom have come from dangerous and impoverished backgrounds.

Supporting social improvement for families and communities
Arbeloa highlighted the importance of their support as it “contributes to the children's development and helps them grow through the values of sport. This is turns helps to aid change and social improvement for families and communities, making sure their basic needs are met in a safe environment”.

Fighting malnutrition since 2012
Since 2012 the Real Madrid Foundation has worked in México with the Fundación Grupo Bafar, focussing on projects that. as well as education through the values of sport, provides medicals and nutritional help with the aim of fighting malnutrition and bad food habits.
