Prior to the derby, the Real Madrid players took to the pitch displaying the message: "Stay strong, Marco".The Real Madrid players came out on to the pitch at the MetLife Stadium wearing shirts in support of Marco Asensio, who suffered a serious injury in the clash with Arsenal. The message printed on the shirts read "Stay strong, Marco".
