Zidane's team make their debut in the International Champions Cup with one of the biggest games in continental football (02:00am CEST).
Football is back, and Real Madrid kick off their 2019/20 season. They are doing so in style, with a European classic. Zinedine Zidane's team are starting off the summer in Houston against Bayern Munich (7:00pm local time, 02:00am CEST). The NRG Stadium will host the most played European fixture (26). This clash is rich in history and could also see some vital minutes for new madridistas like HazardJovicMendy amongst others.

After training in Montreal, the Whites move onto the next part of their tour of the United States, where they will face several European teams. “XXXXXX”, stated Zidane in the pre-match press conference.

REAL MADRID PLAY IN HOUSTON FOR A SECOND TIME IN THEIR HISTORY.

The Bayern game will be Real Madrid's International Champions Cup 2019 debut. This is their seventh consecutive time in the summer tournament, where they will also face Arsenal and Atlético Madrid. Bayern also faced the London-based side this summer. The German champions lost 2-1, with Lewandowski scoring their goal.

Debut at the NRG Stadium
1967 was the last time Real Madrid played in Houston. The Whites faced West Ham, winning 3-2 at the Astrodome. The more modern NRG Stadium will welcome Zidane's team as the curtain opens on this great spectacle.
