The Santiago Bernabéu witnessed Spain claim a comfrotable win over Sweden in the team's European Championship qualifier. Ramos scored a penalty that was won by Asensio. Isco and Carvajal played the full 90 minutes, whilst the Balearic-born attacker completed 65 minutes. In their previous outing, Spain overcame the Faroe Islands with the madridista contingent playing a kery role. Ramos featured in the first half and opened the scoring with a headed effort from an Isco cross. Asensio, who entered the fray in the 56th minute, laid on an assist for the fourth goal.
Jović's Serbia put Lithuania to the sword in the second and last of their European Championship qualifiers during this international break. The new Real Madrid man, who completed 88 minutes, netted his team's third of the night with a fine strike from the edge of the area. In the first game, against Ukraine, he played 72 minutes. Jovic is also part of the Serbian Under-21 squad for the European Championship in Italy and San Marino.
Raphaël Varane featured in the friendly clash against Bolivia which finished 2-0 in France's favour. The madridista made the starting line-up and completed the full 90 minutes. The centre-back again played every minute in the first of the two Euro 2020 qualifying matches, against Turkey. He played no part in the team's last fixture, which saw the French run out comfortable wins at the National Stadium.
Modric's Croatia side got the better of Gareth Bale's Wales in the sides' Euro qualifier. The Croatia captain played the full 90 minutes. Meanwhile, in their friendly meeting with Tunisia, staged at the Anđelko Herjavec (Varaždin), he entered the fray in the 70th minute.
The Belgium national team, with madridistas Courtois and Hazard in their ranks,
played the first of their two Euro 2020 qualifying matches against Kazakhstan. Hazard provided an assist for Belgium's opener, whilst Courtois completed the full 90 minutes. In their second outing, in which they eased past Scotland, the duo once again both played the whole game, whilst the attacker again claimed an assist for the opener.
Wales attacker Gareth Bale, who completed the full 90 minutes in both games, failed to see his national team pick up any points in their away double-header. They succumbed to Modric's Croatia, before losing out to Hungary in the Euro qualifiers.

Casemiro and Militão are both named in Brazil's Copa América squad for the tournament set to take place in their home country from 14 June to 7 July. The hosts will take on Bolivia, Venezuela and Peru in Group A, but first have two friendly warm-up games on home soil. They ran out 2-0 winners in the first of these run-outs, against Qatar, at the Mané Garrincha Stadium (Brasilia), with both madridistas playing their part in the win. The second, against Honduras at the Beira Rio stadium in Porto Alegre, ended in a thrashing. Both Real Madrid players played 45 minutes.

Valverde has been included in the Uruguay squad for the Copa América, held in Brazil from 14 June to 7 July. Los charrúa will come up against Ecuador, Japan and Chile in Group C. First off was a friendly clash on their own turf against Panama, which finished with a Uruguay win as Valverde, who played the full second half, got the final goal at the Estadio Centenario in Montevideo.
