Collaboration with Dreams Foundation
The standout features of the first clinic were the massive participation of girls, who represented the majority, in the training sessions and the funded places to promote access of all those who sought to attend the programme. The second clinic, which took place at the top-level facilities at Hong Kong Football Club, featured more specific contents and greater attention was given to each participant. These experiences see over 40,000 youngsters from across the world offered opportunities each season. In the case of the Hong Kong clinics, the Real Madrid Foundation benefits from the support of Dreams Foundation, which for a fourth consecutive year is the club's partner for its football and basketball in this destination.
Each clinic session is led by coaches from the Real Madrid Foundation, who have been trained in the values-based education methodology and the technical contents approved by the Real Madrid academy. The funds raised by these clinics support the running of socio-sporting projects for minors at risk from exclusion that the Foundations runs in the country and neighbouring regions.
