Corazón Classic Match 2018

The Corazón Classic Match, a festival of goals

NEWS | 13/04/2019

The tenth edition of the charity game is set to take place at the Santiago Bernabéu on the 23rd of June.
On the 23rd of June, the Santiago Bernabéu will play host to the Fiesta Corazón Classic Match 2019. The annual charity event will this time pit the Real Madrid Legends side against their Chelsea counterparts. Over the course of the nine previous editions, fans have come to enjoy a range of wonderful encounters and plenty of goals - a total of 47 have been scored so far.
Real Madrid, Juventus, Bayern Munich, Manchester United… have all found the back of the net in this charity event held each year at the madridista stadium. The initiative was launched in 2010, with a clash between Real Madrid and Milan, the profits from which went to fighting sudden death syndrome. Back then, it was Butragueño, Amavisca and Alfonso (2) who scored for the Whites, as Simone and Rui Costa (2) got goals for the Italian side.
One year later, this time raising aid for Africa, Real Madrid overcame Bayern (8-3) with strikes from De la Red, Butragueño, Redondo, Alfonso, Fernando Sanz, Suker  and two own goals.

More goals
Next up were clashes with Manchester United (3-2), Juventus (2-1), Inter (2-2), Liverpool (4-2), Ajax (3-1), Roma (4-0) and Arsenal (2-1). That's the total of 47 goals to date: 32 for Real Madrid and just 15 for their rivals, figures which we hope will increase on the 23rd of June in the Fiesta Corazón Classic Match 2019.
