    Reyes becomes the Euroleague's all-time highest appearance-maker

    NEWS | 14/03/2019

In the clash with Khimki, the Real Madrid captain made his 341st appearance, equalling Navarro.
After becoming the player to have made the most appearances in the history of the League, against Khimki, Felipe Reyes levelled Navarro's 341 games in the Euroleague, a competition record. It's yet another milestone in the Whites' captain's career, who continues to break records of all kinds just two days before his 39th birthday.

Felipe Reyes has spent 15 seasons playing at the top level in Europe, 14 of which have come consecutively for Real Madrid since 2004-05, following his single campaign with Estudiantes in 2000-01. The power forward from Cordoba now heads an illustrious list of Euroleague names. Behind he and Navarro are Jankunas (314), Zisis (310) and Spanoulis (300), the only five to have played more than 300 games. The next madridista is Sergio Llull, who sits ninth with 261 appearances.

He has become the player to have made the most appearances in both the League and the Euroleague inside two months.

Reyes is among the top performers in several Euroleague statistics. He's the leading rebounder in the competition's history, with 1,776 as well as boasting the most offensive captures (692). Second-place in terms of two-pointers converted (956), third in terms of total points (2,986), third in offensive rebounds (1,084) and fourth in PIR terms (3,740).

The madridista has lifted the Euroleague trophy on two occasions. The first came in Madrid in front of his home fans in 2015 and the second in Belgrade last season. He was also picked in the best five of the 2014-15 campaign. 24 points, 15 rebounds and a PIR of 38 are his best figures. His Real Madrid debut came on the 4th of November 2004 against Cibona Zagreb, and he scored 12 points, took 12 rebounds and notched a PIR of 30.
