Real Madrid have only conceded one goal in the three games played away from home.
Real Madrid will look for a positive result at the Johan Cruyff Arena to set them up for the second leg at the Bernabéu. The Whites visits Ajax with confidence thanks to their good performances so far away from home in the Champions League, especially in defence. In three away games they have conceded only one goal, leading the way in this facet, followed by Juventus, Borussia, Ajax and Valencia (two).
Only CSKA Moscow beat Real Madrid away from home (1-0). The other two games, with Solari on the bench, resulted in comfortable away wins, 5-0 against Viktoria Plzen and 2-0 against Roma. These seven goals scored also make the Whites one of the highest-scoring teams away from home in the Group Stage. PSG, Barcelona, Porto, Bayern and Manchester City also have seven goals each.
