"I’m feeling really confident at the moment and if I can help my teammates I will", said the forward.
Karim Benzema put in a top-quality performance at the RCDE Stadium. The Frenchman scored a brace and showed some excellent moments of skill. He spoke in the mixed zone after the victory against Espanyol: "It was a good game, we played with a lot of intensity, got the goals and played well. We went out with a real desire to win the game and continue the good run we’re on. It's nice to see Real Madrid play like that".
"The team has improved in many aspects, patience, not losing the ball...Football is like that, sometimes it is up and sometimes down. Real Madrid always have to show that they are the best. We have to remain hungry and show that we want to win more than anyone in every game".

His run of form
"I want to show a whole range of things with my football and help my teammates to win games. I’ve been here for 10 years now, I know the club and I help my teammates out wherever I can. I’m feeling really confident at the moment".

Pain in his toe
"I’ve got that issue with my toe and it’s bandaged up but I won’t operate on it at this stage. It’s sore but when I’m out on the pitch I only concentrate on my football. I want to score, make assists and win every game”.
