News | 13/01/2019 | Javier GarcíaThe Whites hope to follow up the Copa win over Leganés with three important points in LaLiga (8:45pm CET).
The match comes just four days after the Whites beat Leganés by 3-0, a score which Solari's team will take back to Butarque next Wednesday. The madridistas will take to the pitch in Seville knowing full well what they are up against: a Betis side in fine form.
The Whites have a lot of injuries too. In training, Kroos, Asensio, Llorente, Bale, Courtois and Vinicius Jr., the latter having the flu, were all absent. Lucas Vázquez is out with a ban, but as Solari mused: “Real Madrid's strength comes from their unity”. Benzema, the team's top scorer, will be available, and he has scored in his last four visits to Betis.
Quique Setién's side go into the game after a draw against Real Sociedad (0-0) in the first leg of the Copa. In LaLiga, the Andalusian outfit sit in sixth position, with seven wins, five draws and six losses. They have been stellar at home, going undefeated since October and having lost only twice this the season.
