The Whites have won all six of their away games with an average of 14 points difference.
After a month and a half of competition, Real Madrid have won every game on the road: six out of six. Three in the League and three in the Euroleague, by an average difference of 14 points. Numbers that point to the best start away from home in the top continental competition since 2013/14. This Thursday, the team led by Pablo Laso will put their unbeaten record to the test on Olympiacos’ court.
The Real Madrid run began on October 5 with their visit to Fonteta on round two of the League. Victory by 18 points (70-88). Then came Milan (85-91), Santiago (73-86), Kaunas (79-90), Tel Aviv (66-87) and Fuenlabrada (80-95). In the league, the Whites are the only undefeated team away from home, while in the Euroleague they are the highest valued visitors (108).
Randolph and Ayón, two MVPs on the road
The two games that saw them being named the most valuable players of the round in the Euroleague were away from the WiZink Center. The American power forward had a spectacular performance in the victory against Olimpia Milan with 25 points, 11 rebounds and 33 PIR. Randolph is proving to be Real Madrid’s most decisive play away from home, averaging 17.6 PIR. The Mexican embodied that in the visit to Kaunas, where he led the team with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 30 PIR.
