Sergio Ramos continues to add to his goal-scoring account. The Whites’ captain is a leader in the defensive side of the game and, season after season, he demonstrates his eye for goal. His goal-scoring record is spectacular for a defender, having scored 76 goals for Real Madrid and 15 for Spain.
 
For the Whites he has scored in each of his 14 seasons at the club with his goals coming in six different competitions: LaLiga (55), Champions League (11), Copa del Rey (4), Club World Cup (2), European Super Cup (2) and Spanish Super Cup (2). Not only are the number of goals he’s scored impressive, he also continues to pop up at the decisive moments as demonstrated by his goals in the finals of la Décima and la Undécima as well as the Club World Cup in 2014.
 
Five goals this season
This campaign, between Real Madrid and the Spanish national team, has already scored five times in the 13 matches he’s played. The last one, coming in Spain’s win over Wales at the Millennium Stadium, the scene of la Undécima.

The Real Madrid defender opened his tally this term in the European Super Cup, which took place on August 15. He then scored in the away win against Girona in match week two, before netting a week later against Getafe at the Santiago Bernabéu. As well as the goal against Wales, he was also on target for the national team on September 11, in the Nations League win over Croatia.
