The draw will take place at the headquarters of the Real Federación Española de Fútbol, the governing body for football throughout Spain. The Whites will be drawn against one of six teams from Segunda División B and Tercera who have made it this far in the competition. The madridistas will face either Villanovense, Ebro, Melilla, Racing Santander or Cultural Leonesa, all of whom play in Segunda B. Alternatively they could be drawn against Sant Andreu, from Tercera.
It will be a two-match tie. The Whites will play the away leg on the 31st October and will play the return leg on the 5th December at the Santiago Bernabéu.
