Tisma, spectacular in Croatia's victory in the under-16s European Championships final

Boris Tisma played a key role for Croatia in the under-16s European Championships final played in Novi Sad (Serbia). The Real Madrid youth was crowned champion of the tournament with his team after beating Spain (71-70) with a key performance in which he scored 24 points, got 3 rebounds and recorded a 26 PIR. Another Real Madrid youth player, Usman Garuba, also played in the final for Spain and put in an outstanding performance (16 points and 18 rebounds). The impressive form of both during the tournament has seen them named in the best five of the European under-16s.
The forward has been one of the key players for Croatia throughout the championship, with an average of 18 points, 5 rebounds and 16.3 PIR. His teammates from the Real Madrid youth academy, Javier Ramos-Yzquierdo and Usman Garuba, were part of the Spanish national team. The latter has been one of the stand out players of the tournament for runners-up Spain and has finished leader in the PIR statistics (25.4) and rebounds (12.3). He has also averaged 16.3 points per game.
