He has won 13 trophies with Real Madrid and was the hero of La Decimotercera with a double against Liverpool.
Gareth Bale is today celebrating his 29th birthday. The madridista was born on the 16th of July 1989 in Cardiff (Wales) and is about to embark on his sixth campaign with the Whites. Bale was the star of the last Champions League final against Liverpool, with a performance that will go down in Real Madrid history: he smashed in a wonderful over-head kick before making sure of the win with a fine long-range strike.

His trophy haul features 4 European Cups, 3 Club World Cups, 3 European Super Cups, 1 LaLiga, 1 Copa del Rey and 1 Spanish Super Cup. Aside from his brace in Kiev, he also netted in the finals of the Copa del Rey, the Champions League and the Club World Cup in 2014. Bale's record at Real Madrid reads 88 goals in 189 games.
