Rudy: “In the Euroleague we lost the first playoff game too”

“We are ready for the League title and want to win it”, explained Taylor.
Rudy Fernández and Jeffery Taylor spoke to the press prior to the second game of the finals between Real Madrid and Baskonia (Friday, 10:15pm CEST). The Balearic-Island forward has turned the page and is already thinking about tomorrow's game: "We knew it was going to be a very tough knockout. Obviously, the first match is always key, but we also had a similar series in the Euroleague, where we lost there first. The situation is a bit different, but we know our capacities and we will keep on battling for it."
"A week of rest and they coming from a tough and physical knockout, it may have given them a boost in terms of energy and intensity. We have had a week of rest, although we have also been working hard before the game. They are things that we cannot control. Now it's time to think about tomorrow's match and not make the same mistakes again. "
Next match
"In all the finals we stay ready. You can go into it in better or worse form, butit is always a great opportunity to win a trophy. Do not forget that this year we have had many challenges to face and that has made the team give a little more grit. At this point, now we should not look back, but think about tomorrow's game and forget what happened over the last months and especially yesterday's game."

Rudy: “We are European champions and we have to fight for every title”.

"We have all recovered. At this stage of the season you can see the fatigue, both physically and mentally. But this is so, we can finish the season with two vital title wins. We are the European champions and we have to fight for each title."
Taylor: "We are motivated and we want to win the League"
"We need to improve certain aspects because they are a formidable team and if you make mistakes they will latch onto that, we did not play well, we conceded 94 points and we will have to be careful in defense."
The mentality
"It's the final, we're motivated from the start, sometimes things go well, sometimes we don't fight, we're fighting for the Endesa League title, we're motivated and we want to win it."
