Real Madrid contest the EuroLeague playoff for the sixth consecutive year

They have qualified for the Final Four in four of the last five seasons.
Real Madrid play their sixth EuroLeague playoff in a row on Tuesday away on Panathinaikos’ court (8:15pm CEST). Since the 2012/13 season, the Whites have always been in the quarterfinals and in four of them they have qualified for the Final Four, winning the title in the 2014/15 season in Madrid.
Their run of consecutive playoff appearances is matched only by CSKA and Panathinaikos in these last six seasons. It started in 2012/13 with a 3-0 against Maccabi, winning the first two at home (79-53 and 75-63) and the third on the Israeli court (57-69). In 2013/14, they beat Olympiacos 3-2 in the fifth and final game at Palacio de los Deportes (83-69).
Title in 2015
In the 2014/15 season, Real Madrid beat Anadolu Efes 3-1 in the quarterfinals after winning the two home games (80-71 and 90-85) and the fourth in Istanbul (63-76), sealing their ticket in the Final Four in Madrid. In the semifinals they defeated Fenerbahçe (96-87) and in the final Olympiacos (78-59) to win the ninth EuroLeague.
The only time they didn’t make it through the playoff was in 2015/16, when Fenerbahçe won 0-3. Last season, the team led by Laso defeated Darussafaka 3-1. Winning the first at home (83-75) and the two played in Turkey (81-88 and 78-89).
