The 0-6 win over APOEL tops the 1-6 wins Real Madrid notched against Galatasaray and Schalke.
Real Madrid showed their attacking prowess at the GSP Stadium,Nicosia, as they beat APOEL 0-6racking up their biggest ever away win in the Champions League. Braces from Cristiano Ronaldo and Benzema, along with goals from Modric and Nacho, meant that the team beat their previous record: the 1-6 wins over Galatasaray and Schalke 04 in 2013/14.

Looking back, Real Madrid's strongest ever win in the European Cup came on the 24th September 1969, in a first round match at the Santiago Bernabéu. Real Madrid were hosting Olympiakos Nicosia FC and beat the Cypriot side 0-8. Gento (2), Fleitas (2), Amancio, Grosso, Pirri and De Felipe were all on target that night.
