"Seeing the fans you realise that you are at the biggest team in the world", he added.
Toni Kroos appeared with Zidane at Soldier Field in the press room after the last pre-match training session before facing the MLS All-Stars this Thursday (3am CEST). The German midfielder said: "We’ll try to win, as always. It's the last game and we want to finish pre-season with a victory.  It's important go in to next week’s match against Manchester United feeling good".
"I feel good, training with the team. The ankle is fine, I’ll have a few minutes tomorrow. It's going to be an important match, it always is when you wear this shirt, you have to go out and win. It's the last game before the important things start. Our goal is to go in to the next game in good shape so it’s important to win".
"We’re at an excellent level. We’ve worked very well here. I feel very positive physically after these three weeks of training".
"I’ve not seen him for some time but he has told me that he is happy here and I wish him all the best".
"Sometimes it's crazy where we go: United States, China, Europe...The fans are always happy to see us and there is always madness. They’re happy to see us train and play. When you see it, you realise you're at the biggest team in the world, there's no other team like this".
"It's the first time I've been here. We arrived last night and I have not had much time but the city seems wonderful. Football is improving in the United States. In Europe we’re seeing how many excellent players have come here who have had great careers. This league has a lot of quality, perhaps not as much as Spain or Germany but everyone says it’s brilliant".
