The Real Madrid forward produced a masterclass featuring three goals against the Faroe Islands, the first of which was a scissor kick, whilst he also provided an assist.

Cristiano Ronaldo conjured up yet another masterclass here. The forward opened the scoring on 2' with an unstoppable scissor kick which flew beyond the visitors' goalkeeper. On 28', he made it 2-0 from the spot after Jakobsen felled Joao Mario. The away side reduced the arrears through Rógvi Baldvinsson's strike before the interval.

In the second period, and after having teed William Carvalho up for Portual's fourth of the night in the 57th minute, the madridista completed his hat-trick with an excellent goal just six minutes later on 63'.
