Real Madrid, the current Champions League champion, will face Major League Soccer (MLS) players in the 2017 MLS All-Star Game on August 2 at Soldier Field in Chicago. It will be the first time a LaLiga team has played the MLS All-Star Game. The stars of the MLS have faced prestigious clubs from the Premier League, Bundesliga, Serie A, Mexican league and the Scottish Premiership.
"It is an honour to represent Major League Soccer and work with the great players of our league in a game against one of the best clubs in the world", said Chicago Fire technical director Veljko Paunovic. "I know how special it is to compete against Real Madrid and I think our players and fans will also enjoy the experience".

With a capacity of 61,500, Soldier Field has hosted CONCACAF Gold Cup, 1994 FIFA World Cup and 2016 Centennial Copa America matches.
