"We dominated for 85 minutes", stated Marcelo.Ramos underlined the team's hard work following their draw at the Bernabéu against Atlético: “Getting a point from the game doesn't do much for us after such a great match in which we performed well. We had a lapse of concentration in the dying minutes, but we dominated a lot of the game and pegged Atlético back”.
“They knew their skills and used that against us. We still rely on ourselves but we wanted more than this. They were three vital points and we were made to suffer with the goal at the last. We need to learn so that this does not happen again”.
Feeling in the dressing room
“We are disappointed because we knew the significance of the three points. We have to turn the page. Football gives you no time to dwell. Now we have to face Bayern, go to Munich and play the game of our lives. After that we have Barcelona here at home, in our back yard with our fans behind us. This really is a plus. This LaLiga season has been competitive and there is hardly any difference in terms of quality. Any error could win or cost you the title”.
Lack of concentration
“I don't want to point out specifics. We have to be better organised and not give their best players so much room. We have to know how to handle the time-wasting which we are not used to”.
Quailty
“We have a big squad with a lot of quality. The size of the squad is linked to the quality. We've all played football for a long time and no-one likes to come off. We all want to play. Zidane has said it already, and James understands it. Players that are vital for their national teams need to understand their roles here”.
Marcelo: “We deserved more”
“We played a great game, dominating for 85 minutes, but we had a lapse in concentration at the death and we paid the price. We deserved more given what we did in the game, but that's football. There have been times when we've won games having done much less. Now we have to look at what we did wrong to ensure it doesn't happen again”.

Casemiro: "There are still a lot of points to play for and we remain right up there and in the hunt for the title".
"I hope that Pepe's injury isn't anything serious. As for the Bayern game on Wednesday, we now have to shift our focus. Our remaining games are all tough ones, but that's just how we like it".
Casemiro: "It was important to get something out of it"
"We put in a great performance and produced a strong all-round display against fine opposition. Atlético also performed well, they've got quality and play some good football. We have to congratulate the team for the display, but one lapse in concentration… Atlético are the sort of side that can hurt you in those situations".
Further chances
"They upped the pressure in the final 10 minutes and they've got quality in their ranks. We had the chances to have got more goals and to have the game easier for ourselves. It's always important to get something out of your games in a competition as tough as LaLiga, particularly when you come up against strong opposition. We remain right up there and in the hunt for the title. There are still a lot of points to play for and the Clásico will be an important game, but there's a long way to go yet.
Navas: “We wanted the win but we have to keep going”
"We feel as if we perhaps deserved a bit more, but that's the way things go in football. We wanted to get the win, but we've now got to keep going. The LaLiga season continues and we've got the same desire to win the title as we did coming into this game. When you face top opposition, you have to perform to your best to win the games, although you don't always end up winning them".
The mentality
"We've got to remain relaxed because the team performed well, but we also have to be aware that at times we'll have to dig in and play the games out. We never want to drop points and our mentality has been the same since the start of the LaLiga campaign. We have to win all of our remaining games and if we do that, we'll be champions".
Next games
"We've got a lot of games and we'll face many teams, it's not just all about Barcelona and we'll have to show all of them our respect. All of the points up for stake are significant because they can help us to win the LaLiga title".
Backing
"I'm really grateful to the Madrid fans. A lot of people have given me their backing. It's for that reason that when I go out onto the pitch, I give my all to try and repay them and give them something to cheer about. I want to stay here for many years to come and that's what I'll be fighting for.
