They've found the net in the last 42 consecutive games, bettering the 41 they've managed on three different occasions.
Zidane's Real Madrid have broken yet another record. Goals from Morata and Bale against Espanyol mean the team have now found the net in the last 42 official matches, a historic milestone. Since the 0-0 against Manchester City in the first leg of last season's Champions League semi-final, the Whites have scored in every single game since: the last 5 of last season, and the 37 they have played so far in this campaign.

This figure has never before been reached in the history of the club. Scoring in 42 consecutive games better the 41 which the Whites have managed on three different occasions: between the 1951/52 and the 1952/53 campaigns, between 1987/88 and 88/89 and in 2011/12.
