Madrid to play at the Ohio Stadium for the first time

NEWS | 27/07/2016 | Alberto Navarro

Built in 1922, it has a capacity of around 105,000.
Real Madrid will play at the Ohio Stadium for the first time. Built in 1922, la Herradura is one of the most recognisable university sports venues in the United States and is the home of, among others, the Ohio State Buckeyes American football team who play in the NCAA.

There is room for around 105,000 fans and a natural grass playing surface with a drainage system to help keep the pitch perfect even in the worst weather conditions. The proximity of the stands ensures maximum intimidation for visiting teams and at the same time allows fans to enjoy matches without obstacles from every part of the stadium.
