“I am at a great club that always fights to compete and win; that is how we are", he explained.
Pablo Laso was happy with the title won against Barcelona and he highlighted the effort made by his players: “We kept a cool head at important time and we looked for the best ways to get ahead in a very difficult game".

"I want to congratulate my players for the game and for the three days they have had. I also want to congratulate everyone who has worked to get to this match, the doctors and assistants, etc. They help us every day to be the competitive team that we want to be".

“It was a very even game. We had a bad patch in the second quarter, a little bit out of control and we lacked continuity in attack. Then we corrected those issues and we had the lead at the end of the third quarter. Perhaps we lacked a little freshness, it is probably also due to an accumulation of games. Today was not a festival of three-pointers and both sides defended the three-point line well".

It was the little things that gave us the win.

“The word team does not just refer to the MVP,  that was indeed very well deserved, however, the word refers to all of the players. Everyone was able to do positive things on the court. I am very proud of the players".

“He was very active. He played and gave everything he had. He is a great example for others. There are others who did not shine but have had a decisive role in the tournament, such as Reyes yesterday and Llull today".

Regaining the title
“These are moments to tell my children about. I am left with the day to day work with the guys. The only thing that matters to me is the club and my work group and I feel very proud of them. There is always the need to win a title. We live to compete and win".

"Basketball is my life and I am at a great club that always fights to compete and win. That is how we are. We have played in 11 out of 14 finals and that makes me proud. I really appreciate the work of the management for the basketball department, starting with the younger players who have won the Mini Cup. We have a real sense of a grassroots club".
