Sergio Ramos continues to make history with Real Madrid. In Valladolid, where he scored the side's only goal of the game, he made his 400th official appearance for the Whites. His nine seasons with the club make him a footballing role model. Ever since making his La Liga debut with Madrid, on the 10th of September 2005, he has played 285 matches in the Spanish topflight, surpassing club legend Di Stéfano on the list of players with most appearances in the club's history. His figure also consists of 73 Champions League encounters, 34 Copa del Rey matches and 8 Spanish Super Cup games.

In terms of goal scoring, Ramos has found the back of the net in all four competitions and has hit the mark on 47 occasions for the Whites. His heading ability is one of his most potent weapons in front of goal as he demonstrated by scoring 6 times during this season's games against Osasuna, Bayern and Valencia. He has also got on the scoresheet in all four of the last matches, making him the most prolific active defender in La Liga.

The Andalusian is 20th on Real Madrid's list of all-time player appearances. The next club legend he'll overtake is Juanito, who is just ahead of him with 401.
