Morata was in the starting eleven against Celta for his 50th game in the Real Madrid first team. The striker made his debut on 12 December 2010 against Real Zaragoza and since then has scored nine goals. His appearances are divided between 36 in the Liga, 5 in the Champions League and 9 in the Copa del Rey.

This season he has played more games than in any other: 32. The academy player has scored seven goals so far in the campaign. His first Liga goal was last season away at Levante, while in the Champions League he bagged his first score in the fixture against Schalke at the Bernabéu.
