Twelve years after lifting their ninth European Cup in Glasgow, the kings of Europe are fighting for another Champions League title, this time in Lisbon. The final will take place in the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica against Atlético de Madrid, who knocked out Chelsea. Two teams from the same city will be meeting for the first time in the history of the European Cup. It will be the thirteenth final in Real Madrid's history. The Whites have reached the match more than any other team, followed by Milan, with 11, and Bayern, with 10.

75% win rate
The Whites have an impressive record there: nine titles from a possible 12, in other words, they have won 75% of their finals. The 1950s and 60s were dominated by the team from Spain's capital, with eight finals and six titles. After losing in 1981, the Whites reigned again in 1998, 2000 and 2002. On the 24th of May, in Lisbon, they will be battling for the coveted Décima in their thirteenth final.
